    I Missed calling this an overlap there is a dim reddish background spot,I think background because of the different color (red shifted ?) And for My Benefit the lower left disk has a large disk and I have not seen this before. ?? Thank you . Ian

    Yes, the dim reddish backgound spot is real, but it may be a foreground (red) star (the automated SDSS pipeline thinks it's a star).

    The object in the lower left is a star, not a galaxy. In SDSS this is obvious (because it has 'diffraction spikes', the compass-point-like things), but not so obvious in DECaLS.

    Hi JeanTate , it Was /is hard to see this spot as for ground in DECals it looked too fuzzy , But I am led by your Superior knowledge , Thank you , Cheers . Ian 😃
