star or galaxy?
this one is an unusual orange colour...is that not a star?

Definitely a galaxy, judging by the spectrum and its strong emission lines. It is an unusually round and compact one, though.
There's a pretty strong auroral line at 5580 A that wasn't removed from the spectrum properly, but other than that the orange color is due probably either to Halpha or OIII emission in one of the DECaLS filters.
