What should I do?

#OIII #Starbursts are being missed. Should I do anything? I feel I'm treading on toes and I don't want that.

These galaxies have already been identified as starburst in SDSS by their spectral chart. See Class=GALAXY STARBURST on its chart. The computer has identified it as starburst, because it has higher values at 5000 than it does at 8000. The software has identified the 4000 break so it has the approximate redshift z and several oxygen and hydrogen peaks, so it has more accurate values of redshift z and also recorded identification and the height of the emission lines. So if you wanted to search SDSS for all starburst galaxies with oxygen emission lines higher than hydrogen emission lines, you could recover this.

Talk is for we amateurs to learn, to be amazed, to discuss, but only occasionally to contribute someting to scientific knowledge. But sometimes, the software can be totally wrong or miss something new, and humans need to come in. This is where we can help,
