Mistake

Elizabeth your right! Its a spiral with a bar. I need new glasses. How do I change the classification?

Sorry, but you can't change your classification. But each galaxy gets looked at at least 20X. If there is a variety of opinions about the galaxy, that is OK, the variety tells the scientists that the galaxy does not have an obvious bar. So if they wanted only galaxy with strong bars for a study, they would eliminate this one.

I would not call this one an elliptical at all! There is a very distinct bar, two spiral arms and a bulge ! 😮

I wouldnt say that it is spiral. Looks to me quite elliptical. Also dont think it's overlapping either

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the spiral features are very obvious ! Elliptical means no fetaures whatsoever. 😄
