Foreground star

I classed this as a merger of a disturbed loose barred spiral with another barred spiral but on the SDSS it says Star (G8V) but it also says galaxy. I am totally confused.I know that the star is a foreground star.

SDSS Skyserver has software to analyze images without a person having to look at it. People (like us) can see where the software has made mistakes.
The algorithm is
Round = star
Not round = galaxy
The software looks for edges, but it doesn't see any edges around the star, so it goes out to the galaxy edge, and so analyses it as a galaxy.

A different piece of software analyzes the spectral chart, and categorizes it as a hot blue star.
