Strange burst

    Hi to all,
    In order to classify the center's galaxy in the photo, I've looked at the bottom one that seems to be a brilliant star with rays of light.
    I'm sorry if my description isn't so tecnical correct, but I ask what is the bottom object?

    The object at the bottom is indeed a foreground star from our galaxy. The colors, spikes and blue/black bar are all optical artifacts.
