Does anyone know what the three dots inside of the galaxy are? Also, at the topmost edge, I see a slight curvature, would that be tidal debris or is it small enough that it would just be classified as an irregularity?

Three dots, they might be satellite galaxies of the target galaxy.
Or could be stars in our own galaxy. There seem to be lots of them in the image.
If you think the curve is tidal debris, that is fine.
