#starburst #OIII ????

This one has me stumped. On skyview its shows that there are 3 galaxies at Z=0.003. The spectrum shows OIII and high Ha/NII/NII. Its not your usual starburst. Its huge.

#NGC_4049. It's a very late type (Irr or Sd) galaxy in the Virgo supercluster. It's not unusual to have multiple SDSS spectroscopic targets in nearby galaxies of large angular size, especially in parts of the sky where there are overlapping plates. In this case it just happened to get the very tiny nucleus + two other starforming regions in the disk.
