Necklace like beads around the edge of the galaxy

  Coincidence? Einstein cross? (Almost certainly not as it looks far too low mass for that, I know, but....) Blobs of star formation? Supernovae? It's interesting, anyway ....

  Possibly the galaxy has low surface brightness, and foreground stars and background galaxies are visible in it?
