Most unusual image I've seen thus far

This image seems to have it all; two "bulges," arms, tidal debris. I haven't viewed very many images, but THIS ONE seems to be "very interesting."

You are right to label the galaxy as interesting. Its official title is NGC 3859 and in the NASA/IPAC EXTRAGALACTIC DATABASE (NED) there are 94 references, the first of which dates back to 1888. To view these, click on NED in the left section of an SDSS Object Explorer page.

The DECaLS image of it is beautiful - really hilights the outer tidal features. 😃
