when does smooth become a bulge?

  Well, spiral galaxies sometimes have bulges, sometimes they don't. Ellipticals aren't classed as having bulges. Maybe they are a huge bulge anyway!

  If there is really nothing classifiable in the centre of the image it is okay to click star/artifact.
