Could be a transient but more likely an artifact (cosmic ray hit). Voorwerpjes usually are dark blue / magenta and oddly shaped.

Green thing is not in PanSTARRS. So it might be a supernova.

So how do we find out if it is a undetected supernova.? We can't be certain, because a spectrum needs to be taken at the time of the explosion, By the time it has appeared on data releases, it is too late because the supernova has faded.
We are guessing that is is a supernova. We check another image to see if the star is not present. If it is small, bright and green or greenish blue, then it was likely a supernova. It is nice to know, and someone might like the information someday, and it is information that computers cannot collect.
