Pink object

  Hi, I'm new on this website, so I don't really know what's odd and what it isn't yet. Could this pink "spark" almost overlapping the galaxy just be an image error or is it an object? Thank you 😃

  Hi elenapells,

  This is a simulated galaxy but to make it appear more realistic they added real background / foreground objects around the simulated galaxy.

  In this case they also added a foreground star that looks this way because it is relatively bright for the telescope.
