There are a million of these things out there (so to speak). Almost all of these simulated galaxies get the same treatment: features, no bar no spiral and either irregular or ring.
Basically the data will (I think) tell you these simulations look nothing like a real galaxy, Most of em look like a mud puddle that some alien sneezed in, leaving a splatter of glowing blue snot. A high school programmer could do a much better job. What went wrong?Posted

They are trying to simulate the formation of the Universe. They might not get it perfect the first time. 😃

I am starting to feel these things are a waste of time. I mean sure, they are worth a few dozen ratings, but I don't see that there is anything to gain after that because they are so repetitive. I don't think there is anything further to be learned after that, and no reason to inflict hundreds of examples on your classifers.
