by zoob1172 18 minutes ago Edit Remove SIMBAD labels it a Seyfert 1 galaxy z=0.035

by CeciliaB an hour ago Can't find a reference for "Sy1 (), G (2MASX,LEDA), AGN ([VV2003c])" Simbad occasionally mixes objects like .038 agn south

by zoob1172 an hour ago There is some magenta colour in this Seyfert 1 galaxy. Could this be an AGN cloud candidate?

by CeciliaB an hour ago I think a galaxy cover. No collision.

Sy1 + magenta-ish + disturbed do make a good combo 😃 If you think so you can also post it in Voorwerp thread, scientists may see it

    New Data

Provision is made in Simbad4 for new data:
Any number of magnitudes and fluxes will possibly be stored with every object. After B & V magnitudes, wich are already in Simbad3, we added U, R, I, J, H and K magnitudes. And others in the AB system : u,g,r,i,z. SEDs construction from photometry in Vizier is also provided.
Every astronomical object has the possibility to have several object types coming from identifiers (and so are only for information).

Hierachical links for multiple systems, galaxy clusters, are also available.
As they will appear, other bibliographic indexes, like DOI, will be availaible and queryable, along with the current bibcodes.
