  How should I classify this? It looks like a central blob surrounded by irregular 'side blobs'

  Hi gosewijn and welcome to the Zoo

  You could make a case for a very disturbed barred spiral or if it is too messy for you, you could go for an irregular. Just answer the questions as well as you can.
