Help with classification?
I'll go ahead and tell you what I see. I see a galaxy (I assume) that resembles a horseshoe crab. I consider the tail to be an arm, but the center is what is mostly confusing me. It appears to be ringed, but it also appears to be broken off constantly (like dust lanes). Overall just confused by this one especially seeing as this seems like a pretty good picture quality.

Galaxies sometimes do not fit nicely into our classification scheme. In this case I would say irregular galaxy.
So, for me
features, no edgeon, no bar, no spiral, no bulge, no merger, irregular
though it is likely there has been a merger in the "recent! past.
