    why this galaxy does not display velocity / redshift information under search ned

    Welcome maggie149. Most small galaxies have no information in NED, unless the galaxy was part of the sky looked at by Hubble, CFH telescope or some other big telescope. I don't find information every often, so I usually forget to even look.
