odd combination of objects.

My thought on this was that the two yellow objects were merging galaxies, but that the blue object was a star. Not quite sure if I was right. Anyone got an opinion?

Correct ! The two yellow objects are galaxies, pobably interacting and the white/blue object is a foreground star from our galaxy.
