How many galaxies are in the middle of the picture?

How many galaxies can you see here? I would say there are three of them? Nice pic bw.

Welcome Smofe. The big oval thing in the middle is one galaxy with a big blue starforming area. There is a more distant red galaxy beneath it. There are various faint things, probably fragments of the galaxy which has probably had a "recent" merger. There is a foreground star in the top left, on the margin.
