  I think this is a stunning image. It is astonishing that we are able to see such wonders and I belive it is well worth it. People argue that too much money is spent on excavations such as this, but look at the detail of colour, how the light streams out the preciseness of the light striking out. I don't think any artist would dissagree with me, but what do you think?

  The glow and the spikes are optical artifacts caused by a bright star just outside of this image
