Artifact Explanation?

  Hello!

  I hope there are some experts here that can help me explain this artifact. The greenish and orange hue is really a peculiar feature.

  Well, I'm no expert but that is actually a camera flare, 'caused by a bright star just outside this picture. Hence, this colours are artefacts.
