Question Mark galaxy - literally a shape that appears as a question mark

Not at all sure what this represents: this may be a two-armed spiral galaxy looking perpendicular to the plane, but the proximity of a similar coloured object, as a spherical shape to the base of the first, makes this appear like a '?' shape

The central object is indeed a two armed, barred spiral. There is some distortion. So, a merger/interaction with the small galaxy at the bottom is definitely a possibility.
