Blue object.

  Hey guys!
  I'm doing a project for my astronomy class and I was just curious as to what that bright blue object is in the top right hand corner? Its very noticeable and I noticed it before I noticed that center galaxy that I was actually supposed to look at..... any ideas or answers?

  It's a star in our own galaxy. It's also fairly bright, comparatively speaking, so some of its light bounced around inside the camera, and spread out beyond the almost-but-not-quite point it would be if there were no internal (inside the camera) reflections (etc). I think you'd need to get deep into the detailed optics of the camera to fully understand the particular pattern though ...
