Black hole?

  Can the ring of light to the right be there because of a black hole bending light coming from behind? Also, I have read that black holes are generally found at the center of galaxies, however if this actually is a black hole then that is odd because this is very much outside a galaxy.

  Sorry, not a black hole. That ring is an optical artifact.
