What's this blue thing, a star? Should I have ignored it and classified only the galaxy on the bottom left corner?

First of, always classify the object in the center of the image, even if it is the most boring one ! 😄

And you are correct, the bright, blue object is indeed a foreground star from our galaxy. The colors and weird center areoptical artifacts.

Is it interesting object to veiw gravitation effects? Star and galaxy on one line cause seeable effects.

The bright object to the right is a foregrond star from or galaxy. No interaction possible with the central galaxy.

I mean light distortion from far galaxy due star mass, not grav interaction. Can wi see it at this image?

Where light from far object goes neat big mass, it path curves due gravitaton.(gravitational lensing). Can we see such effect there
