    wouldn't a red galaxy be more active and redshifted ? 😃

    You mean at the top right, "Target: GALAXY_RED GALAXY"?

    That refers, I think, to how this object (galaxy) was selected for having its spectrum taken, in SDSS. As the photometry was taken before the spectroscopy, it may be that the automatic classification given to this galaxy was "red" in some sense. Not having read up on how SDSS selected different spectroscopic targets, I really can't say ... sorry. Why not head on over to the SDSS DR8 website and see if you can find the answer yourself? 😄
