    It's a very, very nice spiral galaxy, viewed 'face-on', isn't it? 😄

    Our own galaxy, the Milky Way, is also a spiral galaxy; however it's a barred spiral; here's an annotated artist's impression of what the Milky Way might look like, from 'above' (source):
