Does any one else think this looks like a worm? Why would it be wavy like that?

  Galaxies have a lot of bumps, crashes and mergers as they evolve over billions of years. This is probably 2 or 3 clumps that are being attracted to each other by gravity, and will eventually form something more like a spiral galaxy.
