Part of galaxy seems stretched in one direction towards something

  A part of the galaxy is stretched out almost the length of the diameter of the galaxy, and up to a focus of a cluster of stars?

  Looks like the central galaxy is interacting with a smaller neighbouring galaxy. The stream of stars between them would be called a tidal trail.
