Seems to be a problem with the image

    Welcome to Galaxy Zoo, BrokenNeedle.

Hmm, there's no problem that I can see, but what the image is and how it came to be may help explain some of the features in it.

This is an Illustris sim; Illustris is a somewhat new project here in GZ (you can read more about it in this recent GZ blog post, and the links in it). The Illustris sim images we get to classify are all of simulated galaxies, and those galaxies are made to look as if they are at a redshift of 0.05. In order to give us the best opportunity to classify, the simulated galaxies are displayed so that they fill then central ~1/3 to ~2/3 of each image.

The sim galaxy in the center of this image is the cigar-shaped yellow blob. Interestingly, in the Illustris sim, this sim galaxy is quite close to a much bigger one, the yellow 'glow' that covers almost all the image.

Another curiosity: in the GZ Illustris project, the sim galaxies are all placed on a 'canvas', which is a random field from SDSS; generally there is a star or five, and some galaxies, mostly small. However, in this case, there seems to be no SDSS canvas! 😮

Hope this helps, and happy hunting! 😃
