odd blue dot

by Carbon60
This looks like a perfectly normal galaxy viewed at an angle but there appears to be a blue dot just to the right of it almost kissing the outer reaches of target galaxy. However the blue dot may just be behind it. More investigating is needed...

The blue dot is a star forming region in this simulated galaxy from the Illustris dataset.
