what would you say this is?

It is an eliptical galaxy, but it apears to have an outer ring, might this be the result of two elipticals colliding?

Welcome to Galaxy Zoo, groot007!
This is a ringed disk galaxy, viewed almost face-on. It's an unusual kind of spiral galaxy. Here it is in SDSS:
The spectrum has strong emission lines, and the automated SDSS spectroscopic pipeline classifies it as "STARFORMING" ... and that's just for the central part! So, despite its color, it is a galaxy with considerable active star-formation.
Hope this helps and happy hunting! 😃
