The object doesn't have a typical shape. It's kind of half oval.

Yes, some galaxies don't fit into categories. Some people will say detail, and some will say smooth. I think it is probably a blue starburst elliptical, which isn't a real elliptical. It is forming stars at a furious rate, probably as a result of a collision.
