Not sure what to make of this guy, could it be viewed from the side or is it a clump of debris?

This is indeed a very fuzzy and faint galaxy. Could be a disturbed one or an irregular one. With just this image and no redshifts (z) for any of the surrounding galaxies it is impossible to tell more. Just tell us what you see in this image ! 😄
