Planets in the way?

In this picture it appears there are two dark circles, one at 6 o'clock, one at 10 o clock.
I am kind of new to this, so I am not entirely sure what they could be.Any ideas?

The spots are artifacts, the modern equivalent of spilled ink. You know they are an artifact because they have sharp edges.
