This object looks like it could be part of the much larger object at the top of the frame, given what looks like a starlane connecting the two. Difficult to tell, with the complete lack of distance info for either...

It could be that these two galaxies are interacting but their photoz's are very different. So, it could be a merger but it is not sure ! 😄
