What's up with the green color on the left-side of the galaxy ?

Green in nearby galaxies usually indicates the presence of very hot hydrogen, which is usually caused by the black hole in the center eating stars. The spectral chart shows a hydrogen peak at about 6700, so it is definitely an AGN, active galaxy nucleus. redshift is z=0.005
The green in not near the nucleus. A reference in NED has it on the binary coalescence list. Maybe it has two nuclei.
