Hi,
this one was kind of difficult. Is it merging, is it dissolving after having been ripped apart? Or is it just a gas cloud heated by a star somewhere in the centre?

Some galaxies are just faint, because their stars are further apart. We call them LSB, Low Surface Brightness galaxies.
