Strange galaxy edge on..

  Hi ,

  So what am I seeing here exactly?
  I've said galaxy edge on, but not sure at all.

  I'd classify the blue galaxy also as a disturbed edge on. The yellow dot is a foreground star from our galaxy, so not connected to the central galaxy.
