Interesting non- monotone colored galaxy

  I wonder why this galaxy appears to have two vastly different colors on it? My best guess is that since its so far away, it may be two objects overlayed on top of each other.

  Welcome EmilyAnne18, blue/amber division might be an artifact where different filter images were not matched properly.
