Interesting, and useful if you live south of the equator and have a telescope. Not yet in the news

Centaurus A is a large nearby galaxy. It has an active black hole, and relativistic jets that would be easily visible to the unaided eye if only we could see radio waves.

I am getting out the telescope tonight. Hopefully we will have a clear sky. Saw 1987A with the naked eye when it blew up.
