  There appear to be 4 symmetrical pairs of blobs around the core galaxy. Are these gravitational #lens effects?

  This object is a star from our galaxy. The colors, rings, spikes and dots are all optical artifacts. No lensing here, sorry !

  Thanks for your quick response. I didn't know that 'local' stars can also be that fuzzy.
