  Satellites sometimes pass overhead as the telescope is observing and reflect light in a streak across the image as they pass by.

  As far as I know, satellite trails are just on SDSS images, but not on Hubble images. This one is a Hubble image.

  On the corresponding SDSS image there are star spikes.
