  Two galaxies merging,perhaps? The right galaxy looks like it is edge-on, but the center bulge is distinct--like looking through a #slit-view

  i had a look under color correction, the R galaxy is disturbed and the L galaxy bottom arm is tidal towards the r galaxy, possible merger
