Don't know if the knot on the upper arm is a supernova? It's unusually bright to be a star forming area.

Quite beautiful. Is the spot right next to the core at about 5 o'clock a foreground star?

Cant tell if the split in the arm at 6 o'clock is due to dust lane or a separate arm.

I personally would go with a separate arm. As for the white dot SkyServer has it tagged as a star and I agree 😃
