  I see how you can think its a tight SBa but the star forming regions for me are giving that illusion. You can see the loose arm at the top.

  and if you follow the bar you can trace the lower arm to the rim at 4 o'clock. Hence my first call SBc-type

  Unusual hybrid of a bar, a ring, another half-ring (on top) & spiral arms emerging from the half-ring & criss-crossing.on the bottom. Wow!
