    That bright spot on the left could be a star showing through the galaxy or could it possibly be a supernova?

    It could be another galaxy but on the other hand we know that the SDSS software isn't always right.
    I'd go for star 😉

    I first thought so too but then it got a lot of data on NED-search. Can it be referring to the "real galaxy" even though the identification
