  The weird blue thing is a disturbed, barred spiral with lots of star formation (blue clumps) going on

  looks like a quarter circle with concentric rings but very clumpy

  Maybe I'm lens crazy, but I'm wondering about the 3-bulging bright objects at 11:00, & the ellipse 'behind' this bizarre blue object. Lens?
