what is a field g? I would have put it down as a spiral disturbed. Am I wrong?

I'd also go for disturbed spiral.

A Field Galaxy is a galaxy that does not belong to any cluster and is gravitationally alone. 80% of galaxies exist in clusters.

But just looking at the images, I'd say 80% of the galaxies looks to be alone !

Most Low Surface Brightness Galaxies are Field Galaxies. I classified this as a #SBa-type.

yea to me too Elisabeth but i didn't write the stats, only passed them on. I guess they can be far apart and be attached gravitationally.
